The Fixed Income Research group supports the various activities of the London and Tokyo Fixed Income operations and their clients. The team in London comprises four economists, four credit analyst and six support staff.
The department produces a variety of research on the Japanese economy and financial markets, drawing on the company’s vast network of resources, relationships and experience in Japan.
We also originate research on the European economy and the US and European corporate bond markets with a focus on banks, autos, telecos and utilities. This work is all translated into Japanese and tailored to the needs of Daiwa Securities SMBC’s domestic operations.
Publications include three weekly reports (yen, euro and credit 4Sights), a quarterly bond and credit strategy and other ad hoc publications.
